What She Does at Thinkwell

Sara McLeod is the ultimate multitasking maven, orchestrating the daily symphony of projects and to-dos that keep Thinkwell running smoothly. Whether she’s tracking down the perfect feather dusters for a photoshoot, organizing gifts for team birthdays or preparing holiday goodies for our clients, Sara keeps things humming like a finely tuned sewing machine (more on that later). She’s the calm amidst the creative chaos—and we’re so glad that she’s here to keep the plates spinning and the team winning.

Early Life

Sara grew up as the oldest of four kids—three girls and one boy—in a lively household filled with love, laughter and plenty of sibling antics. With parents who’ve spent most of their lives in youth ministry, Sara learned early on how to handle a lot with a little grace and creativity. Her first love? Art. Picture tiny Sara at a Fisher-Price painting easel, smock on, creating her own mini masterpieces. Books were her other love, and each summer, Sara returned to the Anne of Green Gables series, revisiting Avonlea and sharing in Anne’s gift for romanticizing everyday life. When it was time for college, Sara headed to the University of Memphis, where she studied Art Education and met her husband, Beau. Go, Tigers!

Education and Career

After college graduation, Sara channeled her creative energy into launching her own small business. Starting with just a sewing machine and a newborn daughter, Sara grew her business over nine years, balancing entrepreneurship with the demands of motherhood. Now at Thinkwell, Sara brings her signature combination of resourcefulness, organizational savvy and creativity to support the team and clients. From finding the perfect gift to celebrate team and client milestones and successes to solving last-minute challenges without breaking a sweat, Sara is the calm, capable hand behind the curtain.

Personal Life

Sara’s world revolves around her husband and their two school-aged kids, whose practices, rehearsals and games keep life happily bustling. Her greatest joy is watching them grow into kind, creative and resilient individuals. When Sara gets a rare moment to herself, she enjoys rekindling her childhood love of reading, tinkering in her garden, or wandering the aisles of local antique shops (bonus joy points if she stumbles upon a new treasure). Her favorite quotation, spoken by Maya Angelou, captures Sara’s philosophy on life perfectly: “I’ve learned that people will forget what you said. People will forget what you did. But people will never forget how you made them feel.” Sara, we feel pretty great having you on the team.
