Early Life
Maggie was the beloved “oops” baby of her family, growing up in Memphis, TN, with an older sister and brother. Spoiled with love and attention, her childhood was filled with delightful memories, including watching the first episode of Sesame Street with her father, a well-known public television professional. Both her mother, an astoundingly gifted homemaker, and her father provided Maggie with a strong foundation in creativity and communication.
Education and Career
Maggie attended Rhodes College, where she studied English Literature, Music, and Education. Her love for teaching led her to a career in high-school English, a profession she still enjoys during the summer. At Thinkwell Creative, she combines her teaching experience and love for language in her role as Proofreader, ensuring that every piece of content we produce is polished and perfect.
Personal Life
Family means the world to Maggie. She’s happily married to her husband, Jeff, and is a proud mother of three children: Gracie, Walker and Anna Catron. She is also a loving dog mom to her rescue dog, Shepherd, and grand-dog, Rory. Maggie’s passions include tennis, movies, literature, theater, music, visiting NYC and spirituality.
When she’s not perfecting the written word or spending time with her family, you can find Maggie on the tennis court or watching the last 20 minutes of Pitch Perfect on repeat. Maggie is known for her encouragement and getting frustrated with herself over a missed shot during tennis games. As a closet Star Trek nerd, Maggie embraces her quirky side with pride.
Maggie loves the humorous and spirited quotation by Vitas Gerulaitis (who finally beat Jimmy Connors after 16 attempts): “Nobody beats Vitas Gerulaitis 17 times in a row!” This attitude reflects her resilience and determination, making her an indispensable part of the Thinkwell family.
