What She Does at Thinkwell
Amy’s artful balance of adventure-seeking and occasion-meeting sets the tone for how she approaches work and life alike: with courage, curiosity and a playful “git ’er done” spirit. Whether she’s wrangling timelines, untangling feedback or ensuring the creative and client sides are happily humming along, Amy brings her signature blend of sunshine, strategy and “Let’s go, team!” energy to every project she touches. Around Thinkwell she’s known as our Checklist Champion—partly because she’s scarily good at keeping chaos in check, but also because no one rallies a room (or a remote team) quite like Amy can.
Early Life
Amy grew up in a bustling Florida household with one younger brother, now proudly serving in the U.S. Coast Guard. Childhood was a wholesome mix of adventures and amusement: catching snakes in the pond, playing sports with beloved youth group friends and taking family trips to national parks, snorkeling spots and ski slopes. Amy’s dad, an insurance agent by day and true Renaissance man by night, taught her how to build and fix things—plus he sprinkled in taxidermy lessons, because of course. Her mom, a physical therapist, lifelong tennis competitor and avid pickleball enthusiast, taught Amy the value of grit, discipline and lasting connection (the two still talk almost every day).
Education and Career
After excelling in sports and art through high school—we’re talking 11 varsity letters, folks—Amy earned her degree in Advertising with a minor in Art History from the University of Florida (she’s got a soft spot for Italian Renaissance, naturally). From there, she’s devoted nearly 20 years to client services, becoming a master at translating creative vision into strategy while keeping every stakeholder happy. Career highlight to date? A one-day TV shoot with Magic Johnson, Bill Russell, Kareem Abdul-Jabbar and Larry Bird (also her LinkedIn profile pic…no big deal). Whether leading campaigns, coordinating teams or checking every box on a mile-long list, Amy tempers strategic rigor with a wink and a smile.
Personal Life
Outside of work, Amy is happiest spending intentional time with the people she loves—whether that’s surprising her kids with spur-of-the-moment adventures, exploring new places, going to concerts or planning the next great family experience. According to her husband, “Schedules fuel Amy’s soul,” and the best day of the year is the day she gets her new calendar. (Totally fair.) When she’s savoring alone time, you can find Amy doing arts and crafts, tending to her plants, catching up with The Real Housewives of Salt Lake City or aspiring toward her future life goal: traveling the country selling stained glass at art shows and eating kettle corn every weekend. Flawless plan? The calendar concurs.
Once described as “the human Facebook” for her uncanny ability to connect people, Amy is deeply loyal, fiercely determined and the kind of friend everyone turns to when they need something done. Her favorite quotation is her life verse, Joshua 1:9—“Be strong and courageous…”—which fits Amy to an absolute T.
